Each belt can be purchased in a variety of available sizes. Sizes are given in inches, with two measures as follows:

Example:  L  (means LARGE) 36-40" 

This means that the belt measures 36 inches from the beginning of the belt strap (buckle not included) to the first hole, and 40 inches from the beginning of the belt strap to the last hole. Usually all belts have up to 2 inches past the last hole to the end of the belt (In other words, a Large belt will have a total of 42 inches from the beginning to the end)
